University of Waterloo Staff Conference 2010

Lesley will instruct a workshop called
"Desk De-Stress"

This interactive session will provide participants with quick and easy ways to relieve stress, re-energize and
refocus during the work day or before heading home. Using simple stretches and breathing practices anyone
can do sitting at a desk or standing up, participants will discover easy techniques to release tension, calm down
and rejuvenate mind and body.

No special equipment required; all you will need to fully participate, step-by-step instructions, a chair, and desk,
will be provided. As well, participants will receive a Desk De-Stress Do-It-Yourself version (with step-by-step
handouts and audio) for future use.

Facilitator: Lesley Nevills is a certified yoga instructor with a 200 hour teacher training certificate. She has over
1000 hours of teaching experience and has been practicing yoga for 10 years. Lesley currently teaches
evening and lunch hour classes while working in Organizational & Human Development.
