I believe that yoga can be beneficial to each and every body and that it can be positively transformational!
Yoga is a part of my life, I use it to stay physically, mentally and spiritually balanced. For me, yoga has
changed over the years from a primarily physical practice to include many other aspects that enhance all
areas of my life. At the same time - I like to have fun with it, play, explore and learn about myself. For me it
is not all serious and heavy, but light-hearted and lots of fun!
I believe that class instruction with the right teacher is a great way to meet your unique needs, specific
goals and give you the attention you need. As an instructor I offer my enthusiasm and open-hearted
approach to the practice of yoga.
I design group classes with the intent of providing a fun, challenging, mentally & physically stimulating
experience in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere.
I hope yoga will help you as much as it has me!
I came to Yoga ten years ago with a class at my local gym and it changed my life! I was working in a
corporate position as a human resources professional and started to experience all kinds of stress related
symptoms - lack of energy, insomnia, depression. The stars lined up and I became a yoga instructor a few
years ago and since then I have had the good fortune of being trained and mentored by some wonderful
teachers in Canada and the US.
I teach a vinyasa flow style of yoga, which means that we move from pose to pose and poses are linked
together with the breath.
I offer alignment instruction, meditative breath work and a spirit-centered approach to encourage students
to connect on a deeper level to their essential nature and the light of life which connects all beings.
I give thanks to all of my teachers; my husband and daughter, my parents, friends, yoga teachers, students
and my inner guiding light - all who enlighten me daily.
